-Ask and seek out answers to questions about objects and events with the assistance of interested adults.
-Talk about young animals and humans in age-appropriate terms (e.g., babies, puppies,
kittens, etc.) and note that we all start out as babies.
-Engage actively in read-aloud activities by asking questions, offering ideas, predicting or retelling important parts of a story or informational book.

-Connect many kinds/quantities of
concrete objects and actions to numbers.
-Listen to and use comparative words
to describe the relationships of objects
to one another..

All week we will have items out in dramatic play area for Grocery store/Farmer’s market, using shopping basket, shopping carts, cash registers, and assorted produce.

We will have different root vegetables to explore in our soil sensory table.
