Tuesday: Can a liquid change into a solid? What do you think ice cream is made of? Explore some milk, vanilla, salt, sugar, and ice cubes!  Which is a liquid and which is a solid?  What do you think will happen to the milk if we add it to the other ingredients in a bag and then shake it for a while. Let’s find out! 


Wednesday: Can a solid change into a liquid? Explore different colors of powder paint! Is powder paint a solid or a liquid? What do you think will happen if we mix powder paint with water? Let’s find out. Use our liquid paint and a paint brush to make a picture about something you like!


Thursday: Can a liquid changes into a gas?  Let’s breath out on a mirror and explore what we will see?  Where does this water vapor come from? Do you know what the words inhale and exhale mean? Check out the outside of our classroom water pitcher? What do you see? How do you thing that happened? 


Friday: What do you think will happen to the water if we put it in the freezer?  Why do you think so? Before rest time, fill out ice cube tray with water and then put it in the freezer? After rest time, check out what happened to the water? What made the water change into ice? Is ice a liquid or a solid?
