Support Amazing Grace by Donating to our Scholarship Fund!

December 2016

Dear Families,
Did you know that 9 families at Amazing Grace Preschool received scholarship awards this year?  The words of these parents speak for themselves:

  • “As missionaries who raise our own financial support to work in Boston, we quite simply cannot afford the incredible education our daughters have received had Amazing Grace Kids. That’s why we are so thankful for the generous financial aid we have received, and that’s why we’re thankful for you. Because of you (your gifts and your prayers), our daughters have a strong foundation — academically socially emotionally and spiritually.”

At Amazing Grace we strive to give 10% of our operating budget in scholarships to families, in an attempt to be faithful with the resources God has given us.  This does not mean that there is a 10% surplus in our budget, rather, that we are trusting God to provide for us as we are generous to his people. Scholarships are need-based, providing children who would not be able to attend our school with the opportunity for Christian preschool education which they might not otherwise have. In the words of another parent:

  • “Receiving a scholarship for our sons to attend Amazing Grace was instrumental in our ability to send them to the school. Without this financial support, it is probable that we would have had to enroll them in a different preschool, and they would have missed out on such an exceptional and God-centered approach to their early education. We couldn’t be more grateful for the support the school provided through the scholarship fund.”

Here’s the good news – you can be a blessing to families at Amazing Grace Preschool!  Please consider donating to our Scholarship Fund.  It’s easy to give online by going to Donate Now . Any gift, no matter the size, will help us to continue to provide aid to students like the ones quoted here:

  •  “Sometimes sneezes come out of your mouth.  Mostly they come out of your … oh I don’t really know.”
  •  “Sometimes you cry when you get dropped off at school ‘cuz you miss your mommy...”
  •  “Why does God let people die?  I’m going to ask him to stop that.  (Head bowed, hands folded.) Dear God, please don’t let people die.”
  • “I know what diagonal means, I don’t know what the other one (parallel) means!”

Thank you and may God bless you in your generosity,
