-Observe some U.S. national holidays and discuss how and why we celebrate them.

-Explore a variety of age-appropriate materials and media to create two and three-dimensional artwork.

-Listen to a wide variety of age appropriate literature read aloud.

-Arrange events in order when dictating a story.

Spiritual: God is loving and forgiving.

-Use positional language and ordinal numbers (first, second, third) in everyday activities.

Pickle Project!

We will work together with parent volunteers to make pickles – this is something the pilgrims used to make!

Talk about the history of pilgrims making pickles.

Bible Story: Over the course of this week, we will read “The Forgiving Prince” in the Storybook Bible.  

Why did the pilgrims make pickles?  (They are tasty and last longer than fresh vegetables!)
